Free Support Forum - aspose.com cloned graph/shape plotted incorrectly

If you look at the original and the cloned generated slides you will see that the graph is wrong.

A bug was previously reported for this slide here so it looks as though an attempted fix was implemented.

That is correct behavior. Graph has TextFrame and FitShapeToText property set to true.
So graph’s size recalculated on thumbnail generation and presentation writing.

Sorry, I don’t understand your repsonse. Since I am cloning the slides I would expect the correct behaviour to be that the slides are identical.

The line on original.ppt starts at 100 and ends at 1200 but the line on generated starts at around 500 and ends at around 600.

It is not really true.

Each operation like GetThumbnail, CloneSlide or Write force whole presentation recalculation.
That means size of all shapes will be recalculated and all shapes will have “right” size after that.
In case FitShapeToText equal to false graph size won’t be recalculated.

If you try to click this graph in PowerPoint it will be reduced to the same size.
That is strange enough to draw line and add text to it together with FitShape property.

You can also try to copy this slide to another presentation in PowerPoint.
