ASPOSE .net vs java

Hello,

I would like to know which are the main differences between .net and java version.
Is there any known limitation using java in converting Word Excel and Power Point documents compared to the using .net one?

Thanks

Hi Fabrizio,

Thanks for your inquiry I am representative of Aspose.Words team.

The latest version of Aspose.Words for JAVA is completely auto-ported from .NET; i.e. we do not write code for Aspose.Words for JAVA. It is generated out automatically from C# code of Aspose.Words for .NET. So, there should not be any significant difference in functionalities between JAVA and .NET versions because the code is mostly the same.

Moreover, there are a few limitations when it comes to Aspose.Words for JAVA when compared to the .NET platform. You can find a table of these known issues here: http://www.aspose.com/docs/display/wordsjava/Known+Issues+in+Aspose.Words+for+Java

If we can help you with anything else, please feel free to ask.

Best regards,

Hi,

I am representative of Aspose.Cells team.

Same is the case with Aspose.Cells for Java. The new version of Aspose.Cells for JAVA is completely auto-ported from .NET. So, there should not be any significant difference in functionality between JAVA and .NET versions of Aspose.Cells because the code/API is mostly the same.

There is not any significant difference or issues/limitations comparing Aspose.Cells for Java with Aspose.Cells for .NET.

Let us know if we can be any further help.

Thank you.
