32bit C++ library

We are developing under Embarcadero C++Builder. Unfortunately, the compiler still does not support 64-bit sufficiently. For this reason, we still have a 32-bit application.

Is there any way we can still use the Aspose Words library? Can you provide us with a 32-bit variant or are there other possibilities? We see only the possibility to write elaborately a .NET 64-bit application as wrapper. Or do you offer something like that yourself?

@danielbrunner

The latest version of Aspose.Words for C++ does support 32 bit application.

To work with Embarcadero C++ builder, we have your requirement as WORDSCPP-1064 in our issue tracking system. We will inform you via this forum thread once there is an update available on it. We apologize for your inconvenience.

@danielbrunner

Could you please share the version of Embarcadero C++ Builder that you are using? Thanks for your cooperation.

Hi Tahir

We’re still on C++Builder XE7: Embarcadero® C++Builder XE7 Version 21.0.17707.5020

PS: We’re trying to switch to the newest version of C++Builder 10.4.2 but there are some problems we couldn’t work around until now.

Best regards

Daniel

Thanks for your reply.

May you give us an estimation on when it’s maybe done? Is this in 2-3 weeks or 2-3 months or later? It has a huge impact on how we go one with using Microsoft Word.
