Aspose Words: Spacing between table cells not always taken into account correctly

Dear Aspose Support Team,

with Aspose Words 16.2.0 we observe the following problem:

In our Word template (see attachment), there is a table, in which some cells have different shadings, and there is a certain spacing between those shaded cells.

In the resulting PDF (see attachment) after processing with Aspose Words 16.2.0, some of these cell spacings are not rendered correctly: see in particular the four grey cells at the bottom of the table: the left cell does have the intended spacing at the top, whereas the three right cells do not have any spacing at the top, different to the Word template. In particular, this way there is no spacing between the light Grey cell with “. Zinsen . Wechselkurse . Rohstoffe . Sonstige” and the cell “Marktpreisrisiken” above.

Also, please see the small cell with the text “Marktpreisrisiken” in it and darker grey shading: the right border of this shaded cell is a little bit further to the right compared to the light grey box immediately below, and also to the right border of the cell “Erfolgsrisiken” above – you can see easily if you look at the PDF with e.g. 500% zoom. In the Word template, all these right borders are aligned, as there is the same spacing around these cells.

Also, the cell “Liquiditätsrisiken” has this feature: the right border is a little bit too far to the right – it should align with the grey box below and with the right border of the cell “Finanzielle Risiken” above.

In other words: sometimes the cell spacing seems to come out correctly (e.g. for the leftmost bottom grey box), but sometimes not, as for the cases described above.

Please let us know whether you can reproduce this behaviour, and whether it can be fixed.

Thank you, best regards,

Chris (on behalf of hessen)
