500 server error occasionally

I keep getting this error when using reporting services as a web service to generate a doc and save it to disc. we have a good amount of employees hitting these reports at the same time. is there any fix for this?

using aspose words for reporting services, sql 2005, windows 2008 server

Also, does the error occur with all reports or only with some particular reports?

it seems to happen with commonly used reports. we actually use these as form letters, our web app does an http call to the report server and saves the results as a doc. the error we are catching is the one in the original post. it works 99% of the time, but i get at least 5 errors a day

if we have a license for 3.2 is it free to upgrade to 3.4?
