Ability to Password Protect a Document

Is it is possible to password protect a document, as you can do with Aspose?

Hi Gloria,

This feature is not available at the moment but a new issue to support this feature has been logged into our issue tracking system as SAASWORDS-46. We will try to fix this issue as soon as possible and keep you updated on this issue. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi Gloria,

This feature is on the Saaspose roadmap (the plan is to cover all features of Aspose product based on customer demand and feedback!)

Can I just check whether this is a urgent feature for you guys or it can wait until later? My priority is to remove any show-stoppers for you guys as I'm keen to get you on board at Saaspose.

Apart from this I believe it's just the few remaining issues around mail-merging images which remain and the development team expect to have them fully resolved in 5-10 days - I'm just waiting on a specific delivery date which can give you some real certainty.

Best Regards,
Billy.

Billy,
The ability to password protect a MS Word Doc/PDF is not an urgent feature, but required eventually. Our timeline is likely somewhere been January and March.
We do not have a commitment for it today but knowing that we can plan on it is excellent.
Gloria
