About ASPOSE -cells 7.4.0

HI, i had some queries... Could You please resolve

Hi Chirag.

Thank you for contacting Aspose support.

Please provide the problem description so may look into it to assist you further in this regard. Moreover, please also state the platform (.NET/Java) of interest.

Earlier we were using jboss-4.2.3 and Aspose-cells7.4.0 which works fine.
But now after migrating to jboss-6.0.0 we observed that aspose gives following error:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/aspose/cells/AG (wrong name: com/aspose/cells/ag)

And After investigating we came to know that this is Classloader issue in jboss 6.0.0 with case sensitivity. So could u please provide a fix for the same or any alternative for the problem

Hi Chirag,

Thank you for providing more details of your scenario. First of all, we would strongly recommend you to give a try to the latest official version of Aspose.Cells for Java 8.3.1 on your end to see if it makes any difference. Please note, Aspose.Cells for Java is packaged with two jar files as listed below, please add reference to both in your project before re-evaluating the case.

  • aspose-cells-8.3.1.jar
  • bcprov-jdk16-146.jar

In case the problem persists, please provide us the detailed steps to reproduce the problem on our end. Please also provide more information regarding your environment so we could try simulating it on our side exactly as of yours.

Our license ends on 2013/03/29. so could not go with aspose-cells-8.3.1.jar, Can something be done with current version.

Hi Chirag,

I am afraid, that will not be possible. In case your presented scenario is identified as a bug on the part of Aspose.Cells for Java API, we will provide the fix on the top of the latest release. Moreover, you have to renew your license subscription to use the latest release because Aspose.Cells for Java 8.3.1 has been released after your license subscription expiry.
