Add: Transpose message over first slide

I am trying to figure out what the best way to add a message overlayed ontop of my presentation template that is generated by Slides.

Can you please elaborate the type of message to be overlayed on the slide, that is a simple text or watermark like the one as shown on the slide attached?

We have PowerPoint template files that we want to create a preview image for which would be the first slide in the presentation, but also to add some text that we can style on top of that saying "Double click to activate" or similar, to let the user know they need to double click on the presenation in order to use it.

I've tried fiddling around a little, but when I add TextFrames, Paragraphs, Portions (I'm a newbie by the way) I just end up with a screen saying Object Changed, and I don't understand any of it.

Try out the following code:

Slide sld = pres.GetSlideByPosition(1);

Aspose.Slides.Rectangle rect= sld.Shapes.AddRectangle(50, 50, 500, 200);

LineFormat lf = rect.LineFormat;

lf.ShowLines = false;

TextFrame tf = rect.AddTextFrame("Double Click to Activate");

tf.FitShapeToText = true;

tf.Paragraphs[0].Portions[0].FontBold = true;

tf.Paragraphs[0].Portions[0].FontShadow = true;

tf.Paragraphs[0].Portions[0].FontColor = Color.Blue;
