Is there a way to generate tiffs from excel files in grayscale rather than just color or black and white?

I have seen the thread:

Which explains black and white or color, but what I am trying to achieve is grayscale, similar to

Aspose.Words.Saving.ImageColorMode.Grayscale within aspose.words. Is this possible?

How could you render or print a GrayScale worksheet in MS Excel, could you mention the steps involved here. We will check it soon.

I think for Tiff images, currently you may use TiffCompression of ImageOrPrintOptions to make black & white or color images (Tiff images).

I only see how to achieve black and white or color through the tiff compression, nothing that renders the tiff with a grayscale pallate. If you can, let me know if there is any way to achieve grayscale.
