All the document is protected after modify a mergefield

Hi,

We are using Aspose Words for Java 10.6.0 for modifying mergefields.

For security reason we have protected mergefields in order to users can’t modify the entire document text. But when we modify one mergefield using Aspose, all the document is protected.

I attach two files, the original one (v1.0) and the modified one (v2.0)

Thank you for additional information. I managed to reproduce it on my side. The problem occurs because Aspose.Words does not support protection of selected ranges. Your request has been linked to the appropriate issue. We will let you know once this feature is supported.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-1067) have been fixed in this .NET update and this Java update.
