Annotation Pop Ups not displaying correctly on nuance pdf

Hi all,

We are developing a .Net application that automates generation of PDF forms.

We are using Aspose.pdf dll for this purpose. We are in the UAT stage now and have found an issue where an annotation pop up created using Aspose.Pdf.InteractiveFeatures.Annotations.PopupAnnotation class is displaying fine on Adobe reader (PFA the screen shot) but is distorted when opened using one of the older versions of nuance pdf reader.

We also tried opening the pdf using the latest nuance pdf reader (version 8.1 available as free download on the site right now) : The pop up isn't showing up at all in this version!!!

A large user base within our organization use nuance pdf reader to open pdfs hence any inputs from your end in solving this issue would be highly appreciated.

Thanks for your interest in Aspose.

We’ve tested the scenario with nuance pdf 8.1 and managed to notice the reported issue. Please note we chose Adobe products as tools for verifying how Aspose.Pdf produces PDF files just because Adobe is in the center of all which are connected with PDF. Apparently, your issue seems to nuance pdf reader specific, however we’ve logged an investigation ticket as PDFNEWNET-35934 in our issue tracking system for further investigation and resolution. We will keep you updated about the issue progress via this forum thread.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as PDFNEWNET-35934) have been fixed in Aspose.Pdf for .NET 9.7.0.
