Another Word to PDF issue

Hi there,

could you tell me if this issue could be fixed?

in attachment a word document and the produced PDF.

many thanks,

Luca

Hi

Thanks for your request. I managed to reproduce the problem on my side. Your request has been linked to the appropriate issue. You will be notified as soon as this feature is supported. The problem occurs because Aspose.Words does not support floating object positioning during rendering. As a workaround, you can try refactoring your document to avoid using floating objects. I attached the refactored document and the output PDF, produced on my side using the latest version of Aspose.Words.

Best regards,

Hi there,
we’re receiving more and more requests about the ability of supporting floating objects for the word to PDF conversion.
could you give me any information about the planning (if planned) of this feature?

many thanks
Luca

Hi Luca,

Thanks for your request. Of course we plan to support this feature, but unfortunately, I cannot provide you any reliable estimate regarding this. Text Wrapping around floating objects is extremely complex feature. Most likely, it will be supported somewhere in the end of this year. But currently I cannot promise you any exact date. You will be notified as soon as it is supported.

Best regards,

We are happy to tell you that a very cool and important feature (filed as 7180) is included in the new version of Aspose.Words. Text wrapping around images and shapes when rendering Microsoft Word documents to PDF, XPS and printing is now supported. You can download the latest version from here.
