Apose cells for reporting service fails to render matrix propperly

I just downloaded, the apose cells for reporting service product to see how it wouold render to excel. I'm very annoyed by how the standard excel renderer messes up the colours I choose. I was very happy to see that cells uses proper colors, but not so happy that it completely messed up the rendering of a simple matrix.

I can not imagine this is due to evaluation restrictions. Anyone have anny hints? Are matrixes not supported for export? I attached two screenshot. One of proper rendering in the browser and that has been exported to excel by the apose cells rendere (2007 export this instance, but others are the same). microsoft excel export has no problems with this matrix

Here is the RDL. And in case your interrested, the host os is windows 2003 and sql version is 2005 with all service packs.
