Aspose.Cells (v23.7) doesn’t save modified text in an ActiveX control in non-password-protected XLS files

Aspose.Cells (v23.7) doesn’t save the modified text in an ActiveX control in non-password-protected XLS files. The code runs without an issue, it looks like the text is saved, but the saved file doesn’t show the updated text in the ActiveX control.

I am attaching a sample application, a Visual Studio 2022 solution using C#.

The test file is in folder “\TestPassProtectedXLS\bin\x86\Debug“.

The test file name is “TestFile.xls” - a non-password-protected XLS file with an ActiveX Label control on the first sheet.

Using the second button in the test application “Open/Update/Save“, will open a non-password-protected file, “TestFile.xls”, and update the Caption of the ActiveX Label control and save the file under a different name: “TestFile_Modified.xls”.

Open the modified file and observe that the caption is not changed.
