We have a excel application which has a XLC based charts. we are creating a windows based .net application. We are planning to use your Appose.Cells product such that we just pass the XLC file to the object and it opens the excel chart within the windows form. Most important point: Client machine will not have Microsoft Excel installed on thier computer. I guess you have told on your website that it works without excel installed, correct?

Yes, Aspose.Cells for .NET does not necessarily require MS Excel to be installed either on the client or server machine. However, you do need to have MS Excel or Excel Viewer to view the excel files. For your query about XLC file scenario, we will get back to you soon to further explain it.

How do you create a separate XLC file?
Currently Aspose.Cells.GridDesktop can process xls file and show Excel data and formula in windows form but cannot show chart now. We will soon show chart as image in GridDesktop but the chart cannot be edit.
