Aspose.Slides 6.2.0 could not be compiled with .NET 4.0 client profile

To reproduce just create an empty ConsoleApplication and add Slides reference.

C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\Microsoft.Common.targets(1360,9): warning MSB3253: The referenced assembly "Aspose.Slides" could not be resolved because it has a dependency on "System.Web, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a" which is not in the currently targeted framework ".NETFramework,Version=v4.0,Profile=Client". Please remove references to assemblies not in the targeted framework or consider retargeting your project.

I have worked over the scenario shared by you and have been able to observe the issue while using Client Profile .NET 4.0 version of Aspose.Slides for .NET. An issue with ID SLIDESNET-33485 has been created in our issue tracking system to further investigate and resolve the issue. This thread has been linked with the issue so that you may be automatically notified once the issue will be resolved.

I am using 6.3 and it appears that this is still an issue.

I had to revert back to 6.1, that dll has no dependencies on System.Web

We are working over this issue on highest priority and will share the inforamtion with you as soon as it will be resolved. Versions till Aspose. Slides for .NET 6.0.0 works with client profile version 4 assembly.

I have created and shared a sample application for your convenience where by I have used Aspose.Slides for .NET 6.5.0 ClientProfile 4.0 assembly.It worked on my end. You may please try using the sample project shared. Please share, if I may help you further in this regard.
