Aspose Word - "Invalid save format requested" error

Dear all,


We are having problem when printing using Aspose Word (Aspose.Words.jdk16.jar, version 11.0.0.0). The message is “Invalid save format requested”. This problem happens only on a specific server, while the print feature works well in other servers. So, we it should be the problem with configuration on that server

Has anyone experienced with this error before?

We always encourage our customers to use the latest version of Aspose.Words as it contains newly introduced features, enhancements and fixes to the issues that were reported earlier. So, I would suggest you please first upgrade to the latest version of Aspose.Words for Java (13.7.0). You can download it from the following link:

In case the problem still remains, please supply us with the following information, if you cannot supply us with this information we will not be able to investigate your issue and raise a ticket.

  • What environment are you running on?
    • OS (Windows Version or Linux Version)
    • Architecture (32 / 64 bit)
    • .Java version (JDK version)
    • Any Third Party Libraries / SDK in addition to Aspose Products
  • Please supply us with a stack trace detailing the issue
  • Please supply us with the code from your application that is causing the issue
  • Please supply us with the input Word document that is causing the issue

As soon as you get these pieces of information to us we’ll start our investigation into your issue.
