Aspose words office support

Hi,

which Office version is supported with Aspose Word 14.12? I wanted to know if Office 2010 and 2013 is supported with that version.

Also, in the Aspose Word documentation you say that Apose Word only works with Office from 97 to 2010 (https://docs.aspose.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=2883910) but I have seen messages in the forum where you say that Office 2013 is supported.

Is there a way to know for each Apose Word version which Office version is supported?

Hi David,

Thanks for your inquiry. The Aspose.Words 14.12 does not fully support Word 2013 documents. However, you can use this version for Word 2013 documents but with limited features. The full support is available in Aspose.Words 17.3. Please check the following blog post.

Please note that we don't provide support for older released versions of Aspose.Words. Moreover, we do not provide any fixes or patches for old versions of Aspose products either. All fixes and new features are always added into new versions of our products.

We always encourage our customers to use the latest version of Aspose.Words as it contains newly introduced features, enhancements and fixes to the issues that were reported earlier.

The latest version of Aspose.Words supports Word 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2016 documents. Please let us know if you have any more queries.
