Aspose.Words to PDF vs. Watermark opacity

hi,

i am currently evaluating aspose for liscensing, mainly words and pdf.

requirement is to use word templates defined by data mgmt team and
fill content with .net solution, then convert to pdf file with aspose.pdf.
the templates include a watermark with opacity, which appears behind
all the content. this works fine when using aspose.words and saving to
doc file. when saving as asposepdf (xml), the opacity is not defined in
the xml tags, and consequently the PDF file generated with aspose.pdf
shows the image in full color, making the content unreadable.
is there a solution to this, except reverting back to aspose.pdf.kit (which
offers this option according to documentation)? such a solution would not
serve the purpose, as the users should not have to work with any other
components than the word template.

thanks for a feedback…
regards, alex

Hello!
Thank you for your inquiry.
Watermark transparency has been supported several versions ago. If you are evaluating the components then you should be doing this with the latest versions. So I’m in doubt a bit. Would you please attach the MS Word document that reproduces this behavior?
