asposeWord for java- convert to TIFF

Hi,

We need to export or .doc to TIFF format since not all our printers support pdf.

I see there is support for that in the Aspose.Word in the .net version;

Do you plan to include this feature in the java version as well?

Hello

<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Thanks for your request. Currently Aspose.Words does not provide such functionality, but it will be available in a one of the next releases of Aspose.Words for Java. You will be notified as soon as it is available.

As a temporary solution, you can use Aspose.Words for Java to convert Word documents to PDF and then Aspose.Pdf,Kit for Java to convert PDF to TIFF.

Best regards,

Hi,

I believe, the first auto ported version to java does include the support for Word to TIFF conversion as well as support for tables, floating objects like frames, shapes etc.

Please confirm.

Thanks,

Hi

Thanks for your inquiry.

Converting to TIFF. Unfortunately, this feature is still unavailable. This feature is scheduled on the end of July 2011. You will be notified as soon as it is supported.

What do you mean tables?

Layout and render text frames. Unfortunately, this feature is still unavailable. You will be notified as soon as it is supported.

The four wrapping types now supported cover the majority of user scenarios. Although Tight and Through are used rarely, we are very likely to support them in one of the further versions.
