Do you have a web-server version of Aspose which automatically converts a submitted Word doc to PDF without installing MSWord on the web-server?
I am reluctant to have MSWord running on the web-server.

Yes, you can convert Word document to Pdf format using Aspose.Word. It can be done in server environment without using MS Word.
There is no separate web-server version of Aspose.Word. It comes in one dll, suitable for using in Windows an Web applications.
Moreover, Aspose.Word does not require MS Word at all for its work. You need MS Word, or at least MS WordViewer only to be able to view or print the resulting documents, as Aspose.Word viewing/printing capabilities are still in beta stage.
