Even I specify the save type to SaveType.OpenInBrowser in the excel.save function;the download popup window still shows up.How can I avoid this?Thanks
Try to add :
Response.ContentType = "application/vnd.ms-excel"
Response.AddHeader(“Content-disposition”, “inline; filename=test.xls”)
before your code row SaveType.OpenInBrowser
usually using “Content-disposition”, “inline; filename=test.xls” force the browser to open file and “Content-disposition”, “attachment; filename=test.xls” force the browser to open the saveas dialog.
However, there is some exception :
* Microsoft has a problem with IE 6.0 that the never could fix it, IE 6.0 some times dosn’t follow this rule.
* You may have some problem with this rule if you using IIS or thirdpart HTTP Compression utilities.
Thank your, nima.
