I know from looking around that BIFF7 file format is not supported by Aspose.Cells. However, one of the people who uses this product in the office uses Excel 95 files almost exclusively.
I suspect, since the technology is so old, that Aspose.Cells has no plans to ever support that file format. Excel automation is not an option for me, however, and it's unlikely that the user will be likely to convert the files by re-saving them. I suppose the main question here is this:
Since Aspose.Cells does not support BIFF7, do you know of any method besides Excel Automation or re-saving in Excel to convert the files? I'd prefer some automatic method that is feasible from VB.NET.
