Browser Back button is disabled on opeining Excel in the Brwoser (IE)

Hello All,

When I am opning the Excel in Brwoser (IE), excel is opened but the Back button is greyed out (disabled). I have to kill the application and restart it.

This is what I am doing in code …

excel.Save(“chart.xls”, SaveType.OpenInBrowser, FileFormatType.Default, Response);


I would really appreciate if anyone can provide me any lead on this.

Hi Krish,

Is the back button disabled when you run our feature demos? In my machine, it’s fine.

1. The IE window before opening the Excel file.
2. The IE window after opening the Excel file.
