Can’t find where to open a new topic

Hi, I want to ask a question in a new topic but can’t find where to open a new topic. Did this change?

I don’t have the New Topic button. I have been looking through the menus too but can’t find it.

@SuneVav Try to refresh the page with Ctrl+F5 and scroll up. IF the problem still persists, please specify which browser you use. You can post your question in thes topic, I will move it into a separate topic then.

I use Chrome. The latest version 143.0.7499.147. Ctrl+F5 didn’t solve it. Strange.

We have checked the screenshot you shared and found that the issue was caused by the top menu not loading correctly on your end. We have since fixed the problem on our side.

To make sure the fix is applied for you as well, please try the following steps:

  • Clear your browser cookies
  • Hard Reload the page using Ctrl + Shift + R (this forces a full refresh).

After doing this, the page should load completely and the “New Topic” button should be visible again.

If the issue persists after these steps, please let us know and we will be happy to take another look.

I cleared all browser history did a reload.
I still don’t see ‘New Topic’ in this view. However, if I select Support in the upper menu and then Free support I get the ‘New Topic’ button.
So it seems there are 2 versions of the menu (?)

Based on your latest screenshot, I can see that the top menu is now loading correctly on your side.
Regarding the “New Topic” button, this behavior is actually by design.

The “New Topic” button is not shown when viewing an existing topic, for example on this page:

The button is available when you are on:

This is why you see the “New Topic” button after navigating via Support → Free Support — that path takes you to the main forum page where creating new topics is enabled.

So there are not two different menus; it is simply that the “New Topic” option only appears in locations where a new topic can be created.
