Can't produce a word doc

I am trying to produce a word document (FormatDocument) and it doesn’t work. All I get is

???>????? ????ot Entry??????ObjectPool??????SummaryInformation(??DocumentSummaryInformation8???Ha? ?e????

etc…

It works in FormatText though. What am I doing wrong? Is it the word template? Code?

Hi,

Aspose.Word produces documents in Word 97 format that can be opened by all newer versions of Word. Our testing environment is mostly using Word XP. It is not possible to open the produced documents in Word 96 and previous versions.

If that does not help, please email the original document and your code to word@aspose.com.
