\* Caps Doesn't Behave Correctly

  • Caps in a mail merge with Aspose on the value m.d. produces M.d. In Microsoft Word it produces M.D. because it considers M and D different words.

How can I resolve?

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for your inquiry. Please use following * Upper switch in your mail merge field. Hopefully it will fulfill you requirements. Please feel free to contact us for any further assistance.

{ MERGEFIELD Text1 * Upper MERGEFORMAT }

Best Regards,

Thanks - indeed it does…but this still seems to be a bug in Aspose in that MS Word handles this case differently. (and so does the .NET ToTitleCase method https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/system.globalization.textinfo.totitlecase?view=net-6.0).

Both produce M.D. given the input string m.d.
