Hi support,

There are just few entries about captions in forum. I was wondering if Aspose.Words has anything similar with the “Insert caption” option in Word for tables and images. There is a workaround by using user defined styles for “caption-text” paragraphs below or after tables or images, and for creating a “table of figures” or a “table of tables”, putting correct toc code and referencing those styles is sufficient. But I’m looking for a straight solution, if any.

Please advice.

Thanks for your inquiry. There is no “Insert Caption” method in Aspose.Words. I think that workaround you described is the best way to achieve this.
