Hello,
it seems that Aspose Pdf 2.5 introduced a bug affecting line heights (or distances) when generating PDF from Aspose-Cells-generated XML files:
If multi-line text is given as multiple elements within the xml, everything’s looks fine inside the PDF. However, in case that AsposePdf decides that a (single) line is too long and, thus, splits it into two, it won’t recalculate and adjust the distance to the next row correctly. This still used to work fine in Aspose Pdf 2.4.
I have attached some ready-to-run sources for both lib version (2.4 and latest 2.6), each generating a PDF from the same XML file. The problem is occurring in “Item6”, as opposed to “Item5”.
This is taken out of a real-life scenario… We cannot change the underlying XML and, thus, would be very glad if this issue got fixed in a soon-to-come version (hopefully bundled with the open border issue, PDFJAVA-16617).
Thanks a lot for your help,
Lennart
