Hello,

What's the correct way to change page color in existing Excel and Pdf documents?

And then when I will rendering images for needed page I will have background color the same as page color.

I tried to use similar functionality as for Word documents but it doesn't work.

Added the code how I do this for Word documents:

I am a representative of Aspose.Cells team. Aspose.Cells does support to format cells or range cells regarding foreground/background colors. It also support to render images for the worksheets.

Hi,

I’m sorry to inform you that setting background color of the PDF pages is currently not supported. However, I have logged a new feature request as PDFNEWNET-30759 in our issue tracking system. Our team will look into this issue and you’ll be updated via this forum thread once it is supported.

As far as converting PDF pages to images is concerned, Aspose.Pdf for .NET provides this functionality. The output images contain the same attributes and contents as the input PDF pages. So, once you specify the background color manually or programmatically by using the above feature once supported, you’ll be able to convert the pages to images with their existing attributes.

Thanks for your patience. I am pleased to share that the feature requested earlier has been implemented and it will be included in our upcoming release version of Aspose.Pdf for .NET 6.5.0. In order to set the background colour of a particular page inside an existing PDF, please try using following code line

document.Pages[1].Background = System.Drawing.Color.Crimson;

In case you need to set the background colour for the complete PDF file, please try using the following code line

document.Background = System.Drawing.Color.Crimson; // Set background for all document’s pages.
