Is it possible to save Excel chart formatting and styling and then have that applied to generated spreadsheets using the Aspose API?

I am afraid, your requirement isn’t clear enough. What I understand from your post is that you wish to extract the chart formatting & styling from one spreadsheet and apply it to another chart in a new spreadsheet. If this is what you wish to accomplish then it can be done, however, both chart should be of same type and you have to read the style information for different aspects of the chart one by one to apply it on another chart in a similar fashion.
Please share more details, preferably sample spreadsheets for better understanding of your scenario.
