When saving the attached document as PDF, the check box content controls become radio buttons. The ‘unchecked’ radio button appears a a sun symbol. I tried installing the Windings 2 font as indicated in another thread, but this did not resolve the issue. I am using Aspose.Word for Java 18.5.

After an initial test with the licensed latest version of Aspose.Words for Java i.e. 19.3, we were unable to reproduce this issue on our end (please see awjava-19.3.pdf (79.2 KB)). We would suggest you please upgrade to the latest version of Aspose.Words for Java. Hope, this helps.
After further troubleshooting we found that installing the WIngdings 2 font did resolve the problem, but the ColdFusion service had to be restarted for some reason to make the font available.
