Check boxes and white space

#1

I am using .xsl/.xml only.

I want to have a checkbox and some text beside it. Using your example with the dingbats font:
&#113

Gives me an error, however I get it to work with:
q

Q1: Why does your documentation example fail? (Is there a smarter way to do a check box with adjacent text?)

I can not get leading whitespace (blanks). Example: See the space on the left? (The result does not have blanks on the left.)

Q2: How do you get leading whitespace (tabs, etc…)?

TIA,
Earl

Dear Earl,

Thank you for considering Aspose.

1. Please make sure you have not miss the “;” in “q”. If my example has missed it, please let me know.
You can refer to Heading for user defined bullets. Maybe it can help you to add a check box.

2. In the current version, you have to set the Text.IsSpaced to true to display leading whitespaces. Leading whitespaces will be supported without setting IsSpaced in the next fix.

Yes, your example missed:

[XML]

&#183
the first item

Now you know!
I am very happy with your component. We are in the process of buying it now.

Documentation:
http://www.aspose.com/Products/Aspose.Pdf/Api/Aspose.Pdf.Text.IsSpaced.html
Public Property IsSpaced As Boolean Gets or sets a bool value that indicates whether the text is spaced or not.

Suggestion: Your documentation does not fully/clearly explain what is going on. I hope Aspose can put a little bit more into the documentation in the future. If your forum did not exist, I would be elsewhere.

Thanks for the prompt help,
Earl

Dear Earl,

Thank you for considering Aspose.

Thanks for your suggestion. I will spend more time to make the API documentation clear.
