CloneSlide performance concern

We have a process that generates a PPT document based on a template. We have followed the recommendations from the Aspose documentation at http://www.aspose.com/documentation/file-format-components/aspose.slides-for-.net-and-java/how-to-efficiently-use-aspose-slides-in-your-applications.html

Even with all these recommendations the performance is extremely sluggish. Slides can take anywhere from 600ms to over 20,000ms (yes 20 seconds) to clone.

Suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Dear Giovan,

Probably, it is because of greater size images or because of hidden large OLE objects in your template presentation. You should try recreating the template presentation in MS-PowerPoint and then use it, so that it cleans up any extra and unwanted stuff out of it.
