Column Wrapping in Aspose Data Only Excel

Hi,

We are using Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services version 1.9.0.51. We have the SITE OEM license for this purchase.

We are noticing the column width is not wrapped on cases for the Aspose Data Only Renderer (Excel2007SimpleXlsxRenderer).

In the RSReportServer.Config we have the following configuration, as we can see we have the PutOutHeader turned off at the Renderer level.

For specific reports we are turning this on at the Aspose.Cells.ReportingServices.xml level as below,

Please try the attached Static RDL and try to export it through the Aspose Data Only Renderer. This comes out with some columns not wrapped. The same RDL produces consistent output across all the other formats.

This was again found recently in our QA end cycle. Please check.

Thanks for providing us Excel and Aspose.Cells for RS renderings.

I observed the issue as you have pointed out. The columns’ width is not wrapped for the Aspose Data Only Renderer (Excel2007SimpleXlsxRenderer). The contents are unnecessarily wrapped instead of rendering in one row. I have logged a ticket with an id “SSRS-40131” for your issue. We will look into your issue soon.

Once we have any update on it, we will let you know here.

Hi ,

We have found the issues and fixed them.

Please try the fixed version: Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services (SSRS2008R2) V1.9.0.52.

Please copy Aspose.Cells.ReportingServices.dll into following folder:

${SQL Server 2008 R2 Reporting Services}\Reporting Services\ReportServer\bin.

Please let us know run result.

We tested this version and the column wrapping issue is fixed. We will continue to test with the other reports and if we find issues we will let you know.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as SSRS-40131) have been fixed in this update.
