Comparing documents that differ only in comments loses comment ranges

When comparing the two attached documents in version 21.10, the comments present in right.docx lose their comment ranges, that is, they become “zero-width” comments at the end of the range they used to span.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-22960) have been fixed in this Aspose.Words for .NET 21.12 update also available on NuGet.

That’s great news, however, I use the Java version. Are there plans to port it?

Got it. I had misunderstood the section on the .NET release notes that refers to Java. I see that there are release notes for Java at Aspose.Words for Java 21.12 Release Notes that mention this issue. Thank you!
