Conditions with expresions using double prime quotation marks are not executed well

Hi,

Inside of my template, I have IF condition defined like this:

  • IF { MERGEFIELD “vpt_param_10” } = “25*” " { MERGEFIELD “vpt_param_4” } €{MERGEFIELD vpt_param_7 # “#.##0,00”}“

After a mail merge, I get this result:

  • IF 25123 = “25*” " { MERGEFIELD “vpt_param_4” } €{MERGEFIELD vpt_param_7 # “#.##0,00”}”

It seems like the merge is not executed till the end when non-standard quotes are in use.

If I change “25*” to “25*”, everything works OK, and I get:

  • IF 25123 = “25*” “TestDescription €100,00”

Is this some known issue? Is there any kind of workaround for this? Can you help?

Note: in my template I use double prime quotation marks as defined here: Quotation mark - Wikipedia

Thanks,
Jelena
