Are there any plans for a Control to display and edit the
Workbooks created with Aspose.Excel? What I mean is
native support - not a Viewer like ‘ExcelViewer’.

Yes. We are doing such a web control.
It’s also a pure dotnet component which is planned to be availabe at the start of September. In the first release, it will be able to display the workbooks created with Aspose.Excel. And in the following release, it will have the ability to edit data of the workbooks.

Aspose.Cells has replaced Aspose.Excel which is discontinued and no more available now. This new product has introduced many advanced features including controls for desktop and web. Aspose.Cells.GridWeb is a GUI based web control that can be embedded in ASP.NET web forms like other web controls provided by the Microsoft .NET Framework. The most important thing about a web control is providing cross-browser support. Aspose.Cells.GridWeb provides cross-browser support.
