Convert HTML to PDF using Aspose.PDF for .NET - Program hitting infinite loop and failing to generate PDF

Hi,

We have been trying to generate PDF through HTML but its generation is failing since Aspose gets stuck in an infinite loop.

This issue was NOT occurring on 20.4.1 and started producing when we updated to 21.6.0.

Attached is a link to our sample application. Please install the latest Aspose version and try to run this application. The file used for PDF generation is named “AsposeTest.html” and it is part of the linked folder.

Thank you.

@10pearls

We have been able to reproduce a similar issue in our environment while testing the scenario with 21.7 version of the API. Therefore, an issue as PDFNET-50215 has been logged in our issue management system for the sake of investigation. We will look into its details and keep you posted with the status of its correction. Please be patient and spare us some time.

We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Just to make things clear for you. The issue stops producing once we comment out one of our CSS property “display:inline-block”. Aspose has always had issues with this CSS property and it is one of the biggest reasons why we haven’t been able to upgrade. We always had to comment it out and get things done through a workaround which creates further problems.

Please let us know about the average time it takes for an issue to get resolved on this free forum. Not an ETA or tentative ETA, only an average amount of time that we can expect to have this resolved.

Thank you.
