We have investigated the earlier logged ticket. One of the priorities of our product is versatility. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to provide both versatility and performance at the same time. However, we are trying to increase productivity too.
We tested this task on modern versions of the library and got the following data (see the file testdata.txt).
Tested the conversion speed of pages 299-302. On our not-so-fast Core i3, the conversion of one page takes from 3 to 5.5 seconds. Are such results acceptable to you?
Additionally, we can give the following recommendations:
- use the latest versions of Aspose.PDF
- if possible, use the Core version of the library - it is faster for your task.
