Convert rtf2doc and doc2rtf and track changes

I try to convert documents with track changes made in Word.

When I convert doc2rtf - all changes are converted and rtf in Word highlight changes.

When I convert rtf2doc - changes are accepted - and no visible what was change.

Is it possibility to convert rtf2doc with track changes information (such as doc2rtf)??

Please attach the sample documents with a brief description of what is lost during conversion. We will then try to reproduce and research the issue.
Thank you,

I attach two files. (zipped)

Orginal word.rtf - created with Ms Word with track changes on and make some changes - with are visible
and Aspose_rtf2doc.doc - file converted from this above, which have track changes on but no visible changes (Word 2002)

When I prepared files I checked some option.
I found that, when I off track changes and then on track changes (in MS Word) - changes are visible.
This is not a solution - but may be help for you.

Hi,
Could you please check what version of Aspose.Words are you using? When I converted your RTF document to DOC, tracking changes were visible from the beginning (however, it was Word 2003) and could be easily rejected or accepted.
Also, what you mean by “have track changes on but no visible changes”? No “Deleted: 3” balloon or something else?
Thanks.

I use 4.2.4.0 version.

> Also, what you mean by “have track changes on but no visible changes”? No “Deleted: 3” balloon or something else?

It mean is no red inserts and no ballon. (word 2002)
When I open menu in Word - Track changes is on. (but no visible red inserts and ballon)
When I turn off track changes and then turn on - I have visible red inserts and ballon.

I check it on my old computer with Word 2000.
In it - when I open document - Track Changes is off.

It is someting with track changes flag - that Word 2000 - 2002 - not see it properly.
word 2000 - not see it, word 2002 see it but nothig do.

Word files (doc and rtf) work good, converted files with aspose to rtf work good, to doc not work

Okay, please give me 1-2 days to investigate it deeper.

Hi,
I have logged this issue as #3112 and will try to fix it until the next hotfix is out.
Thanks.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-1228) have been fixed in this .NET update and this Java update.
