Convert Thunderbird emails to Outlook PST file

Hi,

I need to export several thunderbird mailboxes to a new MS Exchange server. (.NET)
I suppose I need aspose.network dll’s and save every message as a msg-file.
Bu is it possible to save the messages in a pst-file or save them directly in Exchange server somehow ?

Hi Peter,

Thank you for inquiry.

We are already working on adding/updating new messages in PST file (D: 11246).
Adding message directly to exchange server is not possible currently, I have added a new feature request for this (ID: 30248). We will further analyze it if it’s possible to add messages in such way.

I will update you once any of the above feature becomes available.

Currently, I can propose you to first extract messages from Thunderbird and load in MailMessage. Then add each MailMessage instance to the Exchange Server using Imap. In this case, you need to have IMAP access enable for Exchange.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as 30248 ) have been fixed in this update.
