  • DIAGRAMNET-51797
  • DIAGRAMNET-51802
  • DIAGRAMNET-51803

Dear Aspose Team,
Thanks for the update even in this hard times.
We are in need of a process of

  1. Convert the “VSDX” file to “ZIP”.
  2. Fetch the embedded file “Excel” & convert it into “SVG”.
  3. Replace the SVG in the place of Excel in the VSDX file.
  4. Then, convert the “VSDX” into “PNG”.
Our needed output is “PNG” with the embedded data as visible, & smaller in size than Visio…
But the output is giving the “SVG"ed “Excel” as blurred or not readable.
    Please provide us a solution.TestFile.zip (1.3 MB)
Please take this file as an Input and provide us a good solution.
This request is related to " DIAGRAMNET-51771” & “DIAGRAMNET-51800”. Hope this helps you to troubleshoot the problem and give us a solution

Thanks in advance,
Stay safe, Stay Strong.

We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Dear Team,
Manually we tried the following steps:
1.We try to embed an excel in visio.
2.Initially the excel has 4 columns from ‘A’ to ‘D’ with 4 rows of data.
3.We have selected only the columns ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ with 4 rows of data, to display initially.
4.It went through well.
5.Then, we tried to “edit” the excel from visio and made columns ‘B’, ‘C’, ‘D’ to display.
6.That too went very well.

Now, we are trying to do the same in program (C# Code) :
We would like to know,

  1. How you programmatically manipulate the “Position”, “Height”, “Width”, “Columns” & “Rows” of the excel (embedded - Foreign Object), & and place it in the visio.
  2. So that, at one point we can display the column ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ & at another point we can display the column ‘B’, ‘C’, ‘D’.
  3. Also, we converted the ‘VSDX’ file into ‘ZIP’ file and examined the ‘XML’ files.
  4. But, we could not find the details about the “Position”, “Height”, “Width”, “Columns” & “Rows” of excel in the ‘XML’.
  5. Could you share the intel where to find the abovesaid 5 attributes in which ‘XML’.
Please help us & provide a suitable answer.
With this we have attached the visio & excel as a ‘Zip’ file.ExcelRange.zip (61.4 KB)
