Converting PS to Native PDF

Hi, I have a PS file created by a PS driver where the source comes from MS Office Documents, etc. I am trying to convert this PS file using Aspose.PDF and I’ve noticed that the converted PDF is a “bitmap” PDF and not a native pdf. Is there a way to convert PS file to native pdf?

Regards,

Oliver

Could you please share your sample PS file along with an expected output PDF document. We will test the scenario in our environment and address it accordingly.

calibri.pdf (31.7 KB)
times.pdf (16.2 KB)
Hi,

I’ve attached two ps files. Kindly rename it to .ps.

I guess it is because of the font. With times roman the font is embedded to the PS and when converted to PDF it is converted natively. Compared to another PS file example where I am using a calibri and the font is not embedded which is why when converted, it turned into a bitmap PDF

We were able to notice the similar issue in our environment while testing the scenario with Aspose.PDF for .NET 20.10. We have logged it as PDFNET-48934 in our issue management for further analysis. We will look into its details and keep you posted with the status of its correction. Please be patient and spare us some time.

We are sorry for the inconvenience.
