Creating a Range

Hello,

Somewhere in my spread sheet I have a row, which is populated like this:

StartCol | col2 | col4 | col7 |

I know that the word StartCol only ever exists once in any worksheet. Is there a quick way to find this value so that a range can be generated for the entire row?

Hi,

Okay here is an example.

Basically I need to find range A7:E7, but the tricky part is not knowing which row it is, because the code I have before this adds datatable which could contain any number of rows.

Once I have this I would then like to apply some formatting to it.

Sure, you can easily apply style to named range, however, there are few extra steps, we will first create a Range object from Named Range and then use ApplyStyle() method on it.

For example in the following code, there is a named range (NamedRange) in first worksheet inside source workbook. After the execution of this code, we apply (Yellow) cell shading (style) to all the cells inside the NamedRange.

I have attached the source and output xlsx files and screenshot for your reference.

Workbook workbook = new Workbook(filePath);

Name foundRange = null;

foreach (Name namedRange in workbook.Worksheets.Names)
