Creating an encrypted file based on encrypted template file

Hello,

In the latest hotfix for Aspose.Cells a new feature called “Supports to create encrypted file based on encrypted template file” was mentioned in the changelog. Is there a way that we can set the password for the generated file? Does it use the same password as the one used for protection?

Hi Eric,

There are several kind of protection in an Excel file:

1. File encryption

2. Workbook protection

3. Worksheet protection

In the latest hotfix, Aspose.Cells supports to open an encrypted Excel file and preserve encryption information in the output file.
