Creating Pdf

Hi Support,

We are using Aspose licesed version since 2 years in .Net MVC application. Now we are upgrading our code to .Net Core 2.1. While generating the pdf from Aspose.PDF(12.0), we are facing below issues.

  1. License issue (Occasionally)
  2. Pdf save issue (Could not load type ‘System.Web.HttpContext’ from assembly ‘System.Web, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a’.)

Could you please suggest which DLL versions will be best suite for Core 2.1?

The .NET Core support was added in 17.12 version of the API and we kept improving and fixing related issues in the API and that is why we recommend you use latest available version of the API i.e. Aspose.PDF for .NET 20.11 which includes support upto 3.0 .NET Core. We are also running some tests related to .NET Core 3.1 and it will soon be finalized.
