Creating PST File with Contact Folder - Contact has no Email Address Type set to SMTP

I'm testing with a trial Licens of the Aspose Email Library

I'm just creating a PST file with Contact Folders.

When i attach the PST to Outlook i see that the AddressType Filed has no Value (as opposite the Email2 and Email3 Fields have SMTP Set also if ther are no adresses)

I tried different solution:

newc.ElectronicAddresses.Email1 = New MapiContactElectronicAddress(member_disp, "SMTP", member_email)

but also setting manually the Addrestype

newc.ElectronicAddresses.Email1.AddressType = "SMTP"



Using a debugger i see that the values are set correctly until

contactfolder.AddMapiMessageItem(newc)


On the resulting PST NO Addresstype for Email1 set to SMTP at all.


Has anyone an idea hot o solve this ?

I have tested the scenario and observed the issue. It is logged under id: EMAILNET-34957 in our bug reporting system for further investigation by the product team. I shall write here as soon as some feedback is received in this regard.
