Custom fonts in Word and transformation to PDF

Hi Aspose,



A question regarding custom Fonts.



We have a Word document (.docx) where some of the text is written with a custom Font (ScalaSansOT). The Font is NOT installed on local computer, and Word does NOT shows the Font correctly. But when we transform it to PDF, using Aspose.Words 16.10.1.0 and Aspose.Pdf 16.10.0.0, then the final PDF shows the Font correctly.



The question is how you handle these situations?

Thanks for your inquiry. Please note that Aspose.Words requires TrueType fonts when rendering documents to fixed-page formats (JPEG, PNG, PDF or XPS). You need to install fonts that are used in your document on the machine where you're converting documents to Pdf.
