Request received: Customer could not convert ppt to pdf file format

Hi Ricardo,

I was able to convert different presentations to PDF using your code. The only thing I changed in your code was the following line was commented:

//Proxy proxy = new Proxy(Type.HTTP, new InetSocketAddress("proxy", 80));

Please try changing content type (e.g. httpCon.setRequestProperty("Content-Type", "multipart/form-data");) and if the problem persists, please share a sample file to reproduce the issue.

Dear Muhammad Ijaz,

The problem remains, the same error is produced even with the modification
to the content-type.

Please find attached a couple of files among the ones we attempted to
convert.

Note that this files are private and we kindly ask you not to re-share
them, publish them or make them public in some other way.

Best regards,

Ricardo Espírito Santo

[Saaspose Support] Re: Customer could not convert ppt to pdf file format

Hi Ricardo,

Looks like an issue with the proxy. Can you please replace "HttpURLConnection httpCon = (HttpURLConnection) address.openConnection(proxy);" with "HttpURLConnection httpCon = (HttpURLConnection) address.openConnection();" and share if it works for you.

Hello Muhammad Ijaz,

If I do that then it doesn't get past our proxy. It fails with a unknown
host exception.

Best regards,
Ricardo

Hi Ricardo,

Sorry, the issue was with trial account and I was testing with paid account. We get 'bad request' when we try to render a presentation using a trial account. This issue has been logged into our issue tracking system as SAASSLIDES-78 and we will try to fix it the earliest possible. Hopefully, the service will be updated on Monday.

We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Hello Shahzad,

Thank you for your concern.

I have indeed finished the tests straight after the issue was corrected.

We no longer have any technical outstanding issues pending back our
decision so it is all a mater of time before a choice is made.

Once again, thank you for all your support and I'll hope to speak to you
